On December 15, 2011, the hydrostatic test of the third big tank (volume 14,650 m3) was finished on the project EDF PEI, Reunion. The water is currently emptying from the tank to the ocean, which will take approximately 10 days.
OKZ HOLDING assures in Martinique design, delivery, fabrication and erection of 19 storage tanks including painting. On 11th October 2011 OKZ started erection works in the water tank area and works are thus parallel in all areas. At the same time steel roof structures are assembled in the prefabrication area.
OKZ team continues with hydrostatic test of the other tanks on the project of Reunion power plant. On the 8th of September 2011 the hydrostatic test of the second biggest tank (volume of 14,650 m3) started.The tank was filled with the water, taken from first tank, on which the hydrostatic test has finished on the 2nd September 2011.
For its client, Vesta Terminal Flushing B.V., OKZ HOLDING builds 7 steel storage tanks with total volume of 224,000 m3 in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. Progress on the project is significant. Currently, dome roof structures have been gradually assembled and lifted up.
