The seminary about „Fire-fighting systems“ took place again in Pardubice

Pardubice - representatives of investment, engineering and realization companies met together on the fifth seminary about „Fire-fighting systems“ that was organized by OKZ.

At the beginning, Mr. Jan Dosedla, the fire-fighting systems specialist and manager of the regional office in Pardubice, made visitors acquainted with fog/jet monitors its selected models, technical characteristics, practical using and standards differences that regulate application of monitors.

The other part of seminary was about storage tank protection against temperature effect, fire sprinkler equipment and experiences of OKZ on the czech and foreign market in this area.

OKZ will supply storage tanks for a refinery in Rijeka

Prague - OKZ HOLDING and Croatian partner Monting d.o.o. have concluded a contract on 4th November in OKZ Head Office in Prague for storage tanks fabrication and supervision in refinery Rijeka-Urinj.

OKZ will fabricate and supply four vertical cylindrical steel storage tanks in retention tank; two tanks for fuel oil with a volume of 10,000 m3 and two other tanks with a volume of 5,000 m3.

OKZ has reach experience in production and erection of such tanks. Since 2000, 26 storage tanks have been constructed by OKZ only in the Czech Republic. They are used by the Czech State and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic for storage of state reserve fuels.

OKZ will construct a terminal in Belgium for Ghent Transport & Storage; works have been initiated

Gent – Ghent Transport & Storage (GTS) and OKZ HOLDING a.s. have concluded a contract on 7th April in Belgian Gent for crude oil products storage terminal, OKZ will provide a technological part of the project.

GTS is one of Ghent’s premier terminal operators. 

Storage field with a total volume of 350,000 m3 will be constructed on the bank of inland waterway in Kluizendok. In the first stage OKZ will erect six large capacity storages for diesel with volume of 40,000 m3, and the second construction stage would entail four other storage tanks for heavy oil with volume of 27,500 m3.
