The hydrostatic test of second big tank finished on 29th of September 2011. At the moment OKZ also starts the pressure test on the three horizontal tanks, which will be used for storage of lubricating oil. The pressure test lasts three days and is executed according to standard EN 12285 – fabrication of horizontal cylindrical tanks for aboveground storage. The filling of another storage tank (volume of 2,900 m3) started on the 12th of October 2011. The hydrostatic test will last around one week. The tank is situated in the water zone and will be used for storage of fire fighting water. Painting of two storage tanks (2 x 150 m3) started on 7th of September. Primer and intermediate coats have been applied on the external side of the tanks. The surface treatment inside the tank is progressing. The painting of the internal part of tank for heavy fuel oil (14,650 m3) will start after finishing the assembly and welding works. We are expecting to finish the assembly and welding works inside the tank at the end of October 2011 and start with painting of the wall from inside.
