On December 15, 2011, the hydrostatic test of the third big tank (volume 14,650 m3) was finished on the project EDF PEI, Reunion. The water is currently emptying from the tank to the ocean, which will take approximately 10 days.
Hydrostatic tests of other storage tanks have been also completed with the exception of two stainless steel tanks, which are situated in the water zone.
Painting works intensively continue. At the moment, OKZ painters work simultaneously on five tanks.
Internal and external painting of two tanks with volume of 150 m3 has been finished; final repairs on the stairs are executed. Painting of the internal part of horizontal tanks has been also completed. Two tanks with volume of 250 m3 for storage of lubricant oil are now blasted inside.
Painting works inside of the first big tank (14,650 m3) for storage of heavy fuel starts as soon as the painting of the roof from the inside is finished.
