OKZ Team Winning Čepro Football Tournament!
The VIth Čepro Football Tournament took place in a
local football club stadium in Predonin, near the town of Roudnice, Czech
Republic, on Friday, 5 September 2008. This year, eight football teams gathered
to win the cup. All the teams were formed from the ranks of employees of the
cup sponsor and its suppliers, working on construction projects to build fuel
storage facilities in Roudnice Plant of Čepro Company.
The OKZ HOLDING Team started the tournament with winning
Group B after its first two matches, defeating Čepro-04 Roudnice Team 3:0 and
Chemoprojekt Team 2:0. In the final match, OKZ challenged the Group A
winner, Skanska Team, and beat them 2:0, thus winning the whole tournament.
The
Skanska Team took the second place and Čepro-01 Piping Dept Team took the
third place in the tournament. Next ranking: 4. Průmstav, 5. Čepro - 04 Roudnice, 6.
Chemoprojekt, 7. Čepro-Business Department, 8. Tournament Surprise - Women
Football Team.
The best goalscorer title was awarded to Mr. Jan Januš,
Storehause Manager in OKZ Vlašim production plant, who scored five times in the tournament.
The five well-matched
Czech and Bulgarian players from the town of Vlašim, i. e. Mr. Viliyan Trifonov, Lathe Workshop Leader; Mr. Jan Januš, Storehouse Manager; Mr. Plamen Gerassimov, Anticorrosion Protection Specialist; Mr.
Luděk Sedlák, CNC Operator; and the goalkeeper, Mr. Vencislav Krastev, Assembler, created the core of the winning team. Additionally, the OKZ Team
included Mr. Miroslav
Tlamicha, Assets Management Director; Mr. Josef Mendl and Mr. Zbyšek Martin, Project Managers; Mr. Rudolf Juza, Purchase Dept Prague; and Mr.
Tibor Vojtuš, Building Site Operative.
